Darning Workshops
I teach a 3-hour-long introductory darning class on the first Sunday of every month at Lions’ Den London.
The class is an introduction to hand sewn textile repair work (darning) focusing on plain weave darning, a technique used to create hand woven patches to close up holes in knitted and woven garments.
No previous experience is necessary and all tools will be provided. Participants are also welcome to bring in their own garments to repair.
