Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of garments can you repair?
I specialise in knitwear repair (darning), but can also patch small tears and holes on woven cloth that is not too heavy.

Do you do clothing alterations?
I am not a seamstress and therefore am unqualified to perform clothing alterations. (I have never even used a sewing machine!)

Can you knit me a sweater/other large garment?
I am currently not accepting large knitting commissions. I am happy to knit you smaller accessories, such as hats, scarves, socks, mittens or wrist-warmers, though. Take a look through the archive for available styles.

I broke my favourite mug, can you put it back together for me?
Sure! I can currently repair ceramics, wood, glass, marble and hard plastics using a strong, food-safe epoxy and silver powder.

Do you sell prints of the photos on display in this archive? If I buy one will it come with a watermark?
Yes, I do. Get in touch for print options, sizes and prices. No, the print you receive will not have a watermark, but it will be hand-signed by me.

Can I hire you to photograph my party/wedding/concert/misc. event?
I am flattered that you want me to shoot your party, but I honestly do not feel comfortable as an event photographer. However, if you are really keen and are planning something very small, relaxed and/or special, get in touch and we can discuss it.

Can I hire you to take my professional portrait?
Sure! I am happy to take your portrait.

Can you photograph/illustrate/design my band’s album cover?
    Yep.

Can you design a logo for my business?
    I can certainly try.

I am confused: are you a textile artist? a photographer? an illustrator? or a graphic designer? don’t you have an engineering degree? I heard that you are also a voice artist and that you make music. Choose one thing and stick with it! You will never succeed if you are jumping back and forth between various types of work.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, I do, correct. Job titles are silly. I suppose I am simply a creative then–that should cover every type of work I do. As for your concluding remark: that’s just like, your opinion, man. ✌︎

TL;DR:
This site exists to showcase my various creative side-projects. As a designer and mender, I hope to connect with new clients. As a photographer, I am currently focusing on personal projects whilst sharing some of my favourite moments I have captured on film here and making them available to order as high quality prints. If you have any other questions, comments or ideas, please do get in touch.

Thank you for your interest!
